Every year Colorado Clan Carnage recognizes those generals who are the best of the best as divided by the Grand Alliances. We don't do many solo awards here at CCC as at this event, you live and die by your clan! But we do have 5 awards given to single players, 4 of which are the "Best of" awards. These are given to the players with the highest overall score (Hobby+Sports+Battle) from each of the four grand alliances.

There is a fun bit of history with this award, as the previous year's winning faction art is on the award. So if you win this year as "Best in Chaos' with Skaven, then the award next year will be Skaven art- and maybe even some Skaven prize support as well. Want to see who the previous winners and their factions were? Check out https://www.coloradoclancarnage.com/general-7 for the list! Remember, this is based off of a total score, so to be competitive for these awards, you will need to score well in all three categories. A good review of these scoring rubrics can be found at https://www.coloradoclancarnage.com/scoring Best of luck, Generals!

For those of you Boyz here again, you'll be familiar with how the tables are set for The Carnage. For you new Gitz, here is how it goes:

Each set of tables (4 of em!) matches in theme. There is a separate battleplan on each table that stays all tournament. We do our best to make sure teams don't play on the same set of tables more than once, but sometimes math is a dumb thing and that's just the way the Squig bounces. Once your team is assigned an opponent team and a set of tables, you will begin the drafting process to make your matches! More details on that can be found in the "Tournament Rules" section.

These are the Battleplan Groupings for this year:

In the Crystal Maze of The Bird Weirdy:

Every Step is Forward, Fountains of Frost, Nexus Collapse, Limited Resources

On the Stuntie Hotfields:

Fountains of Frost, Lines of Communication, Power Flux, and No Reward without Risk

In the Homelands:

Geomantic Pulse, No Reward without Risk, Spring the Trap, The Ice Fields

On The Ice Wastes:

Frigid Zephyr, Power Flux, Towers in the Tundra, The Icefields

At the Dead-Guy Realm:

Every Step is Forward, Nexus Collapse, Spring the Trap, Towers in the Tundra

In The Leafy Greeney Place:

Geomantic Pulse, Limited Resources, Lines of Communication, Frigid Zephyr

Amongst That Rataclysm:

Every Step is Forward, Lines of Communication, No Reward without Risk, Towers in the Tundra

A Bashin' Humie City:

Fountains of Frost, Geomantic Pulse, Spring the trap, Nexus Collapse

Remember, if your team gets assigned to one of these sets, one player will have to face each battleplan. It pays to have a good idea of who you want playing each one before you are getting to the tables- then you can focus on the player vs player matchups!

That's 16 teams Ladz! The BIGGEST and most WAAAGH-PACKED Colorado Clan Carnage ever! The roster is now closed, but if you and your boys wuz just sleeping on the job, you can always email us in. Maybe a team backs out (unlikely, these Ladz are stuck in good!) or maybe we get enough interest to expand the roster and push to a bigger space. Never hurts to try!
