The Old Mule and The Sea

Colorado Clan Carnage is an Age of Sigmar Tournament where the aim is to have fun and do things a little differently. The team aspect makes for a unique tournament experience for the region. Part of the fun is laughing at ourselves! Two awards exist to recognize that a team is more than the sum of its parts (Though, mathematically your scores are summed by your parts...) and these two awards are "The Mule" and "The Anchor".

"The Mule" is the player who held the highest percentage of their team's overall score. Note, that this doesn't have to go to the winning team- in fact it probably will not! If everyone on your team is doing well, odds are your contributions will be close to the 25% ideal. More likely, this award will go to the player that kept their team's honor and hope's alive despite the Dice Gods betraying the other three players.

"The Anchor", well, this award is for laughing at ourselves. It will go to the player who holds the lowest percentage of their team's overall score. This very well may go to a player of the winning team (Though, if you attend CCC- aren't you a winner just for that?). "The Anchor" is an award given to the player who helped keep their teammates humble by, lets say, holding back their ambition?

Are your boyz, THE BOYZ?

Perhaps the greatest award of Colorado Clan Carnage is "THE BOYZ". This award is given to the team that has demonstrated to have the heart of a true clan- through matching shirts, matching armies, and general team spirit these Boyz demonstrate what a real team should be. Chosen by a mixture of sportsmanship votes and Tournament Organizer votes, this award goes to the team that makes us want to be part of the hobby!

Who will come out as the Best General of Each Grand Alliance?

Not all (but most) of the awards at Colorado Clan Carnage are team based: four generals will leave with the honor of being the Best General of each of the grand Alliances. These awards are looking for the best personal scores (That's Battle, Sports, and Paint Combined!) for each faction. This year, no team can win all four as no team has a representative from all four Grand Alliances! So far as the odds go, Order players have the hardest struggle for the title with 14 (Uffda!) Order armies attending. Chaos has the next highest count, with 8 (Thats a fair 1/4 of entrants) and Destruction (WAAAAAGH) has 7 entrants (5 of which are Orruk Warclans!). Death players have the best chance at the awards with only 3 armies present. Best of luck everyone!
